Some things are best not told, for the secrets that have kept me going up to this point in time are mine to treasure. Does that make me greedy, to want to keep some things secret?

That makes me just like everyone else, but I'm not. I'm special, I'm more responsible. Of course, every sixteen-year-old who's been convinced he's not like his peers probably thinks the same thing after he's proved he isn't so unlike his peers as he thinks he is. (Jacen Solo in the Star Wars novel Onslaught) More wise Solo quotes... You can put powerful engines on a sloop racer, but if the chassis doesn't have structural integrity, the whole thing falls apart. "I renounce the need to know, now, what I will become later. In looking to my future, I have ignored the present and my role in it. The present is too critical for me to do that anymore." "I slipped. I fell, barely on the dark side of... of the balance point. Everything started to slide. Everything." "I don't care if they shave me." Oops, that last one kind of slipped in there

There is no truth, for truth is only what our minds percieve as reality. And since everyone's mind is different, everyone's truth is different, everyone's perception is different, and everyone's reality if different... Although we share a planet, we do not share the same place...

Usually we try to fight small, unimportant battles we know we can win. It makes us feel better about the big ones we can't.
Battles are only fun if you don't get hurt. Even in small battles, I always seem to get hurt.
That's why it's more fun just to watch other people play. -Miho Tohya, Megatokyo comics

"I suppose he thought he was preventing her from being truly happy, preventing her from finding a 'perfect someone'. But there is no 'perfect someone'. Nothing in the real world ever lives up to what you feel inside. You just find happiness where you can." -Kimiko Nanasawa, Megatokyo comics

"Ah well, she IS a playstation accessory. Makes sense that she'd want you to play with her. Of course, with real women, you never know if they wanna play or not. Friggin nuisance really. But that's just part of the game." The storeowner told Piro, with a bored expression on his face. Piro was still fingering his cell phone, telling himself he would call Nanasawa in a moment, yet never following through. "So play already."
Literate version of a part of a megatokyo comic.
