My friend and I were talking about how to fix my computer when it was still broken (like two weeks ago --_--), and then this is what happened...
friend: and then i would combine C and D together to wind up with C and F for hard drives and E for my cd drive
Tired of Torment: Woah, heavy stuff
friend: yeah
friend: its kinda like one of those riddles or a puzzle game from zelda
Tired of Torment: My dad was playing one for an hour, called me into the room, and I beat it in two minutes flat
friend: "you have two 40gb hard drives, how do you get it so that you have two hard drives with one of them being ten gigs divided evenly amungst the two?"
friend: they'd probably change the words around though
friend: replace gigabyte with arrows or rupees or something
friend: i was playing the twilight princess game and there was this puzzle with two statues that move opposite eachother or whatever
Tired of Torment: Thats the one that took two minutes!
friend: and you gotta get it so that they are both standing on two exact locations of a board
friend: and i was going to spend time to do it
friend: but i looked at the puzzle, and i was like "yeah. i dont have ewoking time for this Oh snap!"
friend: so i went online and got the answer
Tired of Torment: XD that's probably the best way to do it
Tired of Torment: of course it could take longer to search
friend: that'd be funny if it was part of the game though
friend: statues are like "link, you must solve this puzzle!" and he's like "yeah.... right.... lifeline, phone a friend. thats the answer? thx. moving on with my life"
Tired of Torment: Lol
friend: not with me
friend: i'm too logical
friend: i would have been sitting there for like an hour and a half just thinking it through in my mind without ever making a move
friend: until i have it solved perfectly. then i would do it
Tired of Torment: I would probably just keep moving around until I figured out a way to solve it
friend: i'm sure the answer though would have been easy to figure out
friend: just plot the most annoyingly difficult and evasive path toward the door as i can
friend: and thats the way to get there
Tired of Torment: heh. The puzzles in the link games can be so annoying
friend: so like. if i want to go straight. i would start by going left, then back then all the way to the right, then all the way forward then left, back to center, far left up, all the way to the right, back up, left center then up
friend: and do de do de do. you solved the puzzle
Tired of Torment: Did you do the challenge with the ice blocks that you have to push around?
friend: which one?
Tired of Torment: For twilight princess. I'm not sure which one though, since my dad just randomly called me in to do it for him.
friend: i think theres a couple of em though
friend: i know the one that anoyed me was the one with two blocks though
friend: where like, you gotta push one block into the other block then move that block around in a big circle
Tired of Torment: I did that with three blocks
friend: and if i were link i'd be like "ewok this... i'm just gonna walk over to that switch and put a bomb on it. i wonder if the explosion will be heavy enough for it!"
friend: but i'm an ammuntion specialist
Tired of Torment: I tried using a hammer
friend: we have a saying in my line of work, "there's no problem that can't be solved by use of high explosives"
Tired of Torment: What if...
Tired of Torment: Actually, I cant think of a problem that cant be solved that way
