Have some poetry to share? Here's the place to do it. I'll start out i suppose.
This poem was based on an aspect of the relationship between Squall and Rinoa. Yeah, i know. You all predicted that.
Undifferent
We’re not so different you and I Our problem’s just the same We’ve been neglected in the past The rejection’s pushed you away. What I’m here to say is it’s okay To feel the things you feel Don’t be afraid to share the pain With those that you let near. You’ve missed out on so many good things That now I’m here to show you Don’t be afraid to let me in… Trust me, I already know you.

Poetry, huh...
I wear a mask and in sunlight I bask but behind these hidden eyes is a truth full of lies...

Transparency
You grow more transparent day by day As I learn to see through your lies. And your inner light has ebbed away Darkness lingers in it’s wake.
And you’re standing right in front of me, But it seems you’ve been gone an eternity. I want you to be yourself again… But nothing I do can bring you back.
You’ve changed so much in so little time, And I long for you to be my friend again, For just one day at least, Free of all this anger, deception, and grief.

Time is a funny thing you just won't understand everything that it could be everything it demands You need patience to get further yet you can never go back Time goes slow when it wants to and never cuts you any slack If you want it to stop it will go faster if you want it to hurry it wont move at all It's sweet sweet irony of the misconcieved mind that everything you do will not affect time

Across the ages, spread around the world, Turn the pages, open the door.
I asked you for a favor. to see what i wanted to see, to look beyond, look beyond you and me.
to know what I wished to know to open the door. Yet all I am feeling now is a longing for more.
Creeping silently to you it watches everything. I opened the door, So I got my wish But the pain flows through my very core...
What lies beyond the reason of doubt? I cant even see, what lies infront of me. so I just want you to know... I feel this guilt inside, something i still cant hide. Curiousity... what lies beyond?
I found out so hard, It was my fault and allI ever meant to do was to see.
And now it's my fault that i'm just another page. Now all i can see is you weeping for me.
My one wish hurt you. Now that I know, I wish it weren't true.

In the birth cry of the cosmos the twin eyes awake above us they shine the world made safe for our sake
The forests they flourish the towers grow high the four lights shine down chaos withers and dies
but imbalance grows forests turn dark this is our doom the tower breaks the sky
here come the dragons to bring it down...

Darkness swallows everything, laughter, tears, rage, everything, and leaves fear in its wake. But without the darkness, the light would burn...

As I sing so silently being only one in the world listening to me I sing a song Sounding oh so wrong Die for anyone what have I become? Everything I sing has a sad ring what has become of me? Across my thoughts I etch a note of ruin The final note ends in a mournful tune...

I found this poem last night going through a box of old papers. You can pretty much guess who's perspective it was written from. I rarely write from my own. hehe
Lone Wolf
You couldn’t possibly understand That what you see , standing before you Is just a shell A rock: hardened for my protection From them From you From myself You could never understand The pain of loss that comes every time Someone like you steps into, And just as quickly out of my life. You wouldn’t understand You couldn’t Nobody knows the raw pain--- The fear of abandonment as I do I’m glad nobody else does. Mine is a lonely existence, Never to love, or to be loved in return Because all things die in time And the pain…is too much for me to bear. Better to be the lone wolf Howling in the wind, And protecting the pack from seeing the world Through my eyes.
