Now, now Rogie-dono. This isn't part of your combining worlds. This is just a thread for me and Tellah to RP. Since, sometimes AIM refuses to work, and such. So don't take this down or ... something BAD will happen. >.>
It was the middle of the afternoon, but J.D. had no way of knowing. He was deep into the power plant, searching its depths for the legendary ZAPDOS!!!, one of the legendary bird pokemon.
'I lost track of time...'
J.D. Walked and walked, battling random pokemon, and leveling up his own, until he came to a door... the final one. It opened with a distorted beep, and inside the room, was Zapdos! J.D. and his trusty Niarja easily defeated the Zapdos, even though Niarja was a volteon, electric type just like Zapdos. J.D. crossed his fingers, watching the pokeball rock back and forth. After three times of doing that, a beep echoed from its depths, and the shine around it faded. He had really caught ZAPDOS!!!
The girl Kichi was also wandering in a cavern to the Elite Four. She heard the legendary Moltres was found here. Many trainers attempted to capture it, but failed, and moved on to the Elite... She wandered around, hearing yelling and screaming, and frustationg being made. Her face felt hot, it felt like an oven...
"Moltres... well, well, it seems you are a pretty hard fickle..."
She opened a pokeball and a Golduck escaped the pokeball...
"Hydropump." With that, she captured it, and ventured of to the legendary ice bird.
J.D. was also headed that way. His Zapdos, nicknamed Martyr, was flying him there. Martyr was a little reluctant, but realizing that a n00b trainer had defeated him in one turn, and captured him in a POKEball, he did what he was asked to do.
Soon the seafoam islands came into view. Lurking within their depths, was Articuno.
"Come Locks, let's go." Kichi was sitting on Golduck's back, as it was swimming a very fast speed and told herself, "I have Pomepi, and could fly, but I love the ocean."
J.D. Arrived on the island. He looked around, and shivered- After all, he was wearing a T-shirt with ripped sleeves, and mangled jeans. "W-w-why is it s-so..." He realized just how idiotic that question sounded the moment before he asked it. If Articuno really lurked here, then of course it would be cold!
As the girl climbed the mountain on the other side... "Stupid cave, has to be near the top of the freakin' mountain." She cursed silently to herself...
J.D. himself entered at the mouth of the cave, located on the bottom. He glanced around; It was dark. He didn't have the move that would light up the room, so he simply turned on a flashlight, and started searching the icy depths.
Kichi had a Friday out, a Jnyx out, lighting the way, "Next I have to capture Zapdos." She told herself.
J.D. stumbled around, and soon found himself sliding on his ass across the room. He did all he could to regain his composure, but all that idd was cause him to slip around even more, eventually sliding into a room. A light one. A room that in the center of it, rested Articuno, eyes closed, and almost a purring sound emitting from it. It was asleep.
Kichi wandered around, also finding Articuno, on the other side of the room. It was sleeping. She took out a small pokeball as it increased it size, "Pompei..." Moltres flared up the room, awaking Articuno...
"Lend me your strength, Martyr..." Martyr emerged from his pokeball, his eyes showing anticipation to show up and defeat his brother Articuno. Lightning bolts flashed across the room, causing far too much light on his side to see the fire raging on the other.
"Zapdos... I see you have been captured..." Kichi muttered, "Alright Pompei, Fire Blast!"
"Thunder..." Martyr's attack collided with that of Pompeis, resulting in an explosion. Once the smoke cleared, J.D. could see the moltres and its trainer, along with a very agitated Articuno. "..."
"Okay, let's go one more time, Fire Blast!"
"Thunder..." Both attacks impacted upon Articuno, causing it to let out a screech of both pain and anger. In its fury, it flew away, out the top of the area. "Martyr..." The Zapdos knew what to do. J.D. climped up onto its back, and they lifted off after Articuno.
Pompei flew up without it's master, because she already had a ride. On a Charizard, but it wouldn't be fair if she used it against Arti would it? "Okay Pompei flamethrower."
"Steel wing..." The Zapdos obeyed, slicing the Articuno across the chest. Blood spurted out from the wound, the Articuno crying in pain. It dove down into the ocean, hoping to find solice (I think thats the word) there.
Kichi eyes widened, the person she was fighting against to win Articuno... was so violent, she thought of a better way to save Articuno. "Return Pompei," With much of anger, it obeyed, "Okay Dragonair!" A lovely dragon escaped the pokeball and fell in the ocean. Kichi dove in the ocean, clutching Dragonair to find Articuno. While Charizard flamethrowered Zapdos to distract them from getting any closer to get to the injured pokemon.
Zapdos screeched, and flew past the Charizard. While Kichi brought up the ice bird, with the help of Dragonaire, "Thanks Haku..." She let Haku transfer back into her pokeball. She gave it a few sprays of a potion...
J.D. Watched the Articuno's wounds heal. The bird gazed at the girl healing him with gentle eyes. Martyr snorted at this, and dove down, hovering in the air next to them.
Kichi stared at the person who hurt Arti, and scoffed, and stood up, "Do you want me to become your trainer?" She asked playfully to the pokemon, holding up an Ultra Ball.
Arti nodded, a slight smile on its beak. He loved this girl, he loved her kind nature, and he just loved being around her. Articuno was honored to become her pokemon. As the ice bird returned to her pokeball, she sent a harsh glare towards J.D. With a frown, she summoned Pomepi, and flew away.
J.D. found himself frowning. Had he done something wrong? He couldn't remember doing any to hurt the girl, emotionally or physically. "Let's go..." He quietly told Martyr, who nodded and flew off with him. "Back to Sootopolis we go..."
Kichi flew to Sky Pillar, which she had found the legendary pokemon Rayquaza. It gave her the chill, "Okay Arti..." She summon Arti, "Ice Beam." With that cold snowstorm it froze, and was very vunerable. With a toss of the Ultra Ball, it was captured, "Groudon's next..." And with that, she flew to Sootopolis, as well.
J.D. entered his hometown silently. It was nighttime there, so he wouldn't have to worry about disturbing anyone. He and Martyr walked inside of a cave. Deep within it, Kyogre was wide awake, anticipating his arrival. "Sorry I'm late Elie..." He told her. "I was making a new friend... his name is Martyr..." The Zapdos turned its head, uttering a small 'hmph'. Elie laid in the water and laughed, a strange rumbling that emitted from her throat.
Kichi sighed, she was going to call it a day, night, whatever, and entered the pokemon center. "Thanks Nurse Joy." She a smile, she entered a room full of couches and beds, for trainers to crash, she was the only one here... strange, it's usually packed.
J.D. leaned against the wall, his gentle eyes glancing over at Elie and Martyr, both of whom were arguing in their own pokemon language. J.D. had the rare gift of understanding it, but for some strange reason, he could only do so at night. Maybe that's why he was usually awake at night, and asleep during the day?
Kichi entered the room, and spotted a window, she opened up a few pokeballs, her pokemon greeted her happily, and yawned, "Hiya guys, you can camp out here for the night. I know how you get cramped in there." With a wink, she closed the window and went to bed. She could of swore the ceiling was talking to her...
"Elie, want to play...?" He asked. The whale like pokemon nodded in excitement.
"I love to play. Especially with you, J.D.!" She told him, in that strange voice of hers. He nodded, and stripped down to a bathing suit. The water barely moved when he dove into it.
"Ooh, I wonder what is in that cave..." Articuno pondered aloud.
Dragonair smirked, "The of so called, 'Newest Legendary Pokemon' in there, I wouldn't go in, one false turn, and you are in a hot boiling room, with a big dragon that can kill you."
Venusaur lazily got his head up, "Why don't you go see for your self? I'll go with you Articuno." He dragged his feet, as the pokemon followed, even dragonair.
Hearing muttering, and feeling heavy footsteps on the ground, Elie and J.D. dove under the water in hiding, while Martyr flew up to a hidden hole in the ceiling, where he wouldn't be seen by the oncoming pokemon.
Dragonair smirked, it was the right way to Kyogre. It dove in the water and greeted it's old friend, while Venusaur just slept along the side. The two legendary birds, looked at each other, then at the hole in the ceiling. They both nodding, and entered the hole. With a big snore from the plant pokemon made the ground shake a bit.
Elie nodded at her friend, and the two began chatting. Realizing it was not enemies that had entered, J.D. surfaced for air before diving back into the murky depths.
Meanwhile, Martyr was having an all too 'pleasant' reunion with his brothers.
"Zapdos..." Articuno muttered...
"Whaddya want?!"
They were both frightened by that comment, sure Zapdos was always irriated, but they were brothers, and were family, "You got captured too?" Moltres asked sadly.
"Yeah, I got captured." Okay Martyr, deep breaths... calm down, calm down... "You two did too, huh?"
"Yeah, sadly, I wish to be free again..."
Tired of Torment: "Heh, build a bridge." Martyr's eyes flickered. "and get over it."
"I am trying to, so, how is your trainer like?"
"Ours doesn't seem to talk alot."
"You were both captured by that weird kid, right?"
They both nodded, but Arti said, "She seemed very kind though."
"Is that why you were captured willingly?"
"Nah, Arti was given to her kindness, I lost, to a damn golduck."
"I lost to a volteon. That's the same type as me too! And that thing beat me in one shot"
"Wow, what level was it?"
"How the heck should I know?"
With a shrug, they both replied, "I thought you would know." Back with Dragonaire... "How is it with Groudon?"
"Groudon? We don't see much of eachother anymore. He's been in a really bad mood lately..." She replied sadly. Her and Groudon used to be the best of friends, but now...
"What happened?" Dragonaire asked, "You guys were the best of friends... I can't even imagine you guys rivals..."
"I'm not sure... I think he's just going through a phase." She grinned. "Ah, yes, I remember when I went through my emo phase..."
Dragonaire went silent, oh bad memories... very bad indeed.
"Well, that was over Aeons ago. What's new with you though? I havent seen you in four years!"
"Ah, well, I can't believe you haven't noticed I leveled to a Dragnaire, and um, I'm level 99, it's going to be sad when I go to 100...." She trailed off.
"Oh, you're a Dragonaire now?" Elie looked her over. "I can't believe I didn't notice that before! And hah, you're only level 99. I'm level 174."
"Heh," With a smirk, her happiness regained, "Well you are legendary, I'm only a ordinary one. I can only go up to 100, remember that..."
"Says who? There's a way to get past 100."
"I don't know of it yet..."
"Well, all you have do do really is ask J.D." She motioned towards the boy swimming next to her.
"Uh, yeah, right..."
"But, let's talk about something else. Played any good video games? Seen any good places?"
"Ah, yes, some. I suppose you have?" The dragon teased.
"Not really." She frowned. "But soon me and J.D. are going to go explore a place called Yafutoma!"
"Ooh, sounds fun, Have you ever gone to Sky Pillar? It's very great there, wonderful view... after you take away Rayquzie away, you can see much of the land and ocean.
"Wh-w--w-w-w-whAAAAAAAAAAT?! Your trainer... she didnt..."
"Yup, Arti did all of it though. All credit towards her, all I did was swam there."
"Someday you'll fly. I dunno why you can't yet." (Dragonair=eel thing. Dragonite=dragon)
"Ah, my trainer still wants me a Dragonair, once I go to level 100, I'll become a Dragonite, and be with the rest of the level 100 pokemon." She sniffed sadly.
"As I said before, there's a way to continue leveling up."
"My trainer doesn't allow it, she..." The dragon trailed off, "I-I better get Popumi and Arti..." With that she swam to the surface, andgather her party.
"Bye..." Elie muttered sadly. That trainer of her's... it didnt sound too nice.
The Dragon got Venusaur off his ass, and let him roar Arti and Pompei back.
Arti waved it's wing towards his brother, "See you later brother"
Pompei followed, "See ya."
Martyr nodded. "Bye arti, bye pompei."
Pokedpoker: With that the foursome exited the cave and slumbered.
THE NEXT MORNING...
Kichi blew a whistle to which only her pokemon knew of. It was the time to go, and for travel, more places to go, more peope to meet, more enemies to be made. The four scrambled to her, and she smiled, "Haku, level 99, almost 100." Haku couldn't help but smile, it would be the only time she could see her trainer, before she turned level 100...
J.D. entered the main room of the pokemon center, just barely tired from having about four hours of sleep the night before.
Kichi pondered for what the daily plans for today was, "Hm, I say we pay a visit to Oaky, heh, I would like to see new pokemon in his lab." She summoned Jet, an evolved Tailow. She sucked the pokemon back in their pokeballs, and used the HM Fly to Pallet Town.
J.D. was also headed to pallet town, to visit Professor Oak as well. He arrived first, Martyr being an uber fast pokemon.
With a whoosh, she jumped off Jet, and tranfered her back into her pokeball. "I wonder if Tala is making new friends..."
J.D. entered the pokemon labs, Niarja close behind him. "Good afternoon, professor oak..." The gray haired man turned around.
"Ah, J.D., how long's it been?"
"A couple of months..."
Kichi pressed the doorbell, and grinned, behind her back was an uber surprise...
Oak turned around, and pulled open the door. "Oh, hello there!"
"SURPRISE!" Confettie flew all round, and with a grin she greeted him with a casually hello.
He blinked a few times, looking up, but then shrugged, and led her inside, where J.D. was hiding shyly behind a bookcase.
"Oh Professer Oak, I drew this picture when I was up in Sky Pillar, it's a wonderful view there." She showed him a litttle sketch of all the stuff her saw over the horizon,
"That's a nice picture..." J.D. almost silently commented, while professer oak was looking at the picture with awe evident on his face.
"How did you get such a picture?"
"I drew it..." She muttered, "Though, Rayquzie was being an annoying nusiance, I had to capture it so I could drew this. So annoying, it was indeed."
"That's amazing!" Professor oak commented. "You really captured Rayquaza... wow..."
"I just made it freeze, and it was vunerable, so I caught it. Not a big deal actually, what is a REALLY big deal is that darn Latias... stupid thing, runs away..."
J.D. was silent. That was the girl from before, the girl that the dragonair was talking about, the girl that most likely left her level one hundred pokemon in a PC...
Kichi sighed, "Also, Haku is going to level, and is not going to be much of use to me... now I have to find another water type pokemon that I can use to use HM surf with..." She sighed sadly, "And I was getting attached to this pokemon, it's not before she levels, ah, well, breeding..."
"Once you're done with a pokemon, you dispose of it...?!" J.D. was outraged. How could anyone do that to a living thing!? A living thing, with its own unique personality, thoughts, feelings, and dreams!
"I don't dispose of it, I breed it." Kichi told the unknowned person,"Wait, who am I talking too?"
J.D. stepped out from behind the bookcase. "How could you just neglect a pokemon like that?!"
"It can't level more than 100, It's no use of me, unless I will breed." She told the man, "Besides, I have many pokemon that are level 100, and have breeded them with."
"But there IS a way to get past level 100!"
"Hah!" She laughed, "Right, and I'm Santa Claus." She smirked, "Though what do YOU do with your pokemon after 100 Hmm? You do have the same old group forever? That's just plain."
J.D. was silent, his face expressionless. This girl... what was her problem...?
Professor Oak sighed. "He's not lying, Kichi. He really discovered a way to level pokemon up past one hundred."
"Really?" She asked skeptically, "I see you have been the same group to figure that out." She smirked malicious to him.
He shook his head. "I have a lot of different pokemon, and every day I use a different group. That way they're well rounded."
"How are you pokemon going to get stronger by that? You have to take a pokemon and train them individually, and once they are done, you can start breeding them." She waved her hand to him dimissically.
"If you knew what you were talking about, then your dragonair wouldn't feel so sad!"
She smirked, "It's not like she is going to be alone, after I find the perfect mate with her, I can breed, and put them both in the PC."
"But she wants to be with you, not some ditto or Dragonite.."
Kichi sighed, "She'll change once she becomes much stronger and finds a mate, which reminds me, I should go find one now." She headed off to the door, "See you later J.D." With a wave, she summoned Jet, and flew off.
J.D. glared at her, and turned towards professor Oak. "How could... anyone say that?"
Professor Oak shook his head. "Different people have different ways of thinking. Thats just the way humans are."
Kichi traveled to Sea Foam Island, there she found her ultimate rival Red... She took out her pokeball, "Ready to battle Red?"
"Hell yeah!" Red grinned, pointed teeth visible. He'd been waiting for this. "Come on! Joyobo!" He threw a master ball to the ground, and a red beam of light escape it, forming a... Mew?! "Heh, like my new friend?!"
"H-How did you..." Kichi fell backwards, this wasn't Red, he had his usual pokemon, never this... "B-But h-how?!"
"That's a story for after we battle! Rukia Joyobo, are you ready!?" He called the Mew using its first and last names. She nodded calmly, feeling energy pulsing through her. This battle would be over soon.
Kichi gritted her teeth, would she be able to handle this?, "Haku..." She summon up Dragonair, "Be careful..."
"Rukia! Psychic!" She nodded at the command, and started glowing with a pink light. Her energy bubble formed around her and Red, as the attack took nearly all of Haku's life points away.
"Haku, mega potion..." She gave the dragon a potion, but it would be futile to their demes...
"Rukia! You know what to do!" With another Psychic attack, Haku was knocked unconcious. "Hmph, that all you've got? Show me what you can do, girl..."
"I-I forfeit..." She kneel with a comforting gaze to her pokemon, "You did alright, it was a hard battle, you need rest..." She captured back her pokemon to her pokeball
The Mew nodded. "You did well... "
"Thanks Mew, I'll be back for a rematch." With that she left, and return back to Oak's to sulk.
She pressed the doorbell.
Oak opened the door. "What happened?" he asked the girl. She was beaten up, scratches an dirt all over her.
"Let's just say,... I got my ass kicked." She stated, staring at the ground with disappointment.
"By who?"
"Ah, you know, my rival, the teme, blahblahblah."
"Him? But last I heard he was the weakest trainer out there."
"People change Professer, people change." With a sighed she slumped on the couch and stared at the wall. Once again, she could of swore the ceiling was mocking her.
"After one week?" Professor oak raised an eyebrow.
"Sure, people can surely change whenever they want. How long it takes, they still change." She told him, flopping on her stomach to the couch and let her head rest on the pillow, "And whoopie for me."
"Don't feel too bad Kichi. If you level up some more, I'm sure you can defeat him!"
Kichi fell into slumber, after traveling alot wears you down. Not to mention all the battlings, is giving her much of stress.Oak sighed, and pulled a blanket over the girl. She must've been through a lot, to fall asleep at 2 in the afternoon like that.
It was the middle of the afternoon, but J.D. had no way of knowing. He was deep into the power plant, searching its depths for the legendary ZAPDOS!!!, one of the legendary bird pokemon.
