I was thinking about starting an X-men RP! Follows most of the same rules as the other RPs. You can use canon or custom characters! So don't be afraid to join if you've by some reason never read the comics, or watched the TV shows, or the movies.

About this RP:
- This RP will take place at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters in Westchester NY. Xavier's school was established to teach mutants how to control their powers.The school is located in Xavier Mansion, is the base of operations and training site of the X-Men and the location of a school for mutant teenagers. Its address is 1407 Graymalkin Lane, Salem Center (part of the town of North Salem), located in the very northeast corner of Westchester County. The school's motto is "mutatis mutandis."
- In this RPG, mutant students will be attending class in a normal High School with normal kids. The rest of the day will be spent at Xavier's school which focusses on their other...abilities. They will be dorming in the Mansion.
- Characters in this RPG can fall under several affiliations. You can be mutant or civilian. There is also teacher and student. Furthermore there are a couple of groups that you can fall under:The X-men (good), the Brotherhood of Mutants(evil) or neutral.
- You can have as many characters as you want as long as you can balance them all! There are also some characters that aren't in the initial plot, but you can reserve them for later.

Professor X is a powerful telepath. He is the founder of the X-Men. His goal is to maintain a peaceful co-existence between humans and mutants. He created a school which trains mutants to use their powers responsibly and discreetly in order to prevent panic from the general human population. This philosophy puts him at odds with mutants such as Magneto who believe mutants should be dominating humanity rather than hiding from it. - Wolverine -Logan (Regenerative healing factor

Wolverine is tough, determined and loves a good fight. Fortunately he fights alongside the X-Men. His keen senses help him track down adversaries and alert him of danger ahead. His healing powers make him nearly impossible to defeat in a brawl. Adamantium claws are capable of shredding enemies and just about any inanimate object as well. His past is a mystery to everyone, including himself. It is a rather lengthy past as well because his healing factor has drastically slowed the aging of his body. Storm is a role model for others wanting to join the X-Men...strong, confident, intelligent, caring, loyal and brave. These attributes serve her well as an instructor at the Institute as well as in battle. Claustrophia is one of her few weaknesses. She must also be careful to keep her powerful mutant abilities under control. - Beast -Hank McCoy (Animal-like physiology

Hank spends much time and effort suppressing his mutation, but will ultimately be unsuccessful doing so. He created a serum which kept his mutation hidden for years, but eventually the physical and mental stress of keeping the Beast inside will be too much. For now he works as a teacher in the Science Department at Bayville High.

Estimated Age: 18
Scott has a strong sense of right and wrong, and would probably be described by many as a "boy scout". He is competitive and eager to assume a leadership role. His competitiveness sometimes clouds his better judgement though. Cyclops is unable to control his optic blasts while his eyes are open without the use of a special visor or glasses. Scott has a brother named Alex who he recently reunited with after believing for years that Alex died in the plane crash both were involved in. Jean Grey is the target of Scott's affection and as time go on both have grown closer together. - Jean Grey (Character taken by Roguie-sempai)(telepathy, Telekinsis)

Jean is one of the most powerful mutants at the Institute. She is also intelligent, strong-willed and a naturally gifted athlete. She is well-liked by a non-mutant football player named Duncan, as well as by friend and mutant Scott Summers. - Rogue (Character Taken by Roguie-sempai) - Real name unknown. (Empathic mimicry;Absorption of memories, skills, and powers through skin to skin contact. The longer the contact occurs, the longer Rogue will retain the abilities or memories. If she maintains contact for long enough, the absorption is permanent.)

General Info: Rogue is a teenager trying to distance herself from society. She cannot touch anyone without endangering their health or life. The emotions and memories of anyone she absorbs become her own to a degree, which is a further strain on her sanity. Rogue has a crush on Scott, but had to face the reality that Scott loved Jean and not her. Rogue was raised by Mystique who did not reveal her true identity to Rogue. - Nightcrawler(Character Taken by Namine)- Kurt Wagner (Teleportation, Enhanced night vision, Superhuman acrobat/gymnast, Prehensile tail, Ability to stick to walls, Blending into shadows, Skilled in martial arts, hand to hand combat and fencing training)

Nightcrawler is the joker of the X-Men. He is often in high spirits and ready to have fun. He is probably the most sensitive to the emotions and attitudes of others, even though his demonic appearance forced him to lead a relatively secluded life. After joining the Institute Professor X provided Kurt a special holographic projector so he could take on the appearance of a normal human when needed. This allowed him to attend public school and engage in other public activities without drawing unwanted attention to himself. - Shadowcat-(Character taken by AsilThundra)Katherine "Kitty" Pryde (Intangibility, ie. walking through walls/matter)
Estimated Age: 15
Shadowcat generally is upbeat and cheerful. She is a loyal friend, and is always willing to help others in need. While virtuous in almost all respects she has a big crush on Lance Alvers, a member of the Brotherhood who generally is up to no good. This relationship is an annoyance to the some of the X-Men who often find themselves battling the Brotherhood. - Jubilee(Character Taken by Namine)- Jubilation Lee (Ability to project pyrotechnic energy plasmoids, Concussive blasts, Ability to evade the detection of telepaths, Ability to explosively charge objects.)

Jubilee is fun-loving and somewhat mischieveous like most of the other 'recruits'. She spent most of her life traveling from foster home to foster home until she finally ended up at Xavier's.
The Brotherhood of Mutants:

Mystique has been growing forces for Magneto in the form of the Brotherhood of mutants. This shapeshifter has also been undercover as the Thirty-something Bayville High Principal Darkholme, and causes a lot of trouble for Xavier's group while her own hardly get detention. - Toad- Todd Tolansky (Superhuman leg and tongue strength and endurance, agility, reflexes, coordination, balance, and leaping ability , Paralyzing mucus secretion, Ability to expel gusts of air from lungs, Elongated prehensile tongue, Pheromone secretion, Adhesive spit )

Toad is a social outcast but has found a home with the Brotherhood. He is greedy, shifty, obnoxious and is lacking in personal hygiene. Toad is enamored with Wanda. Unfortunately for Toad, Wanda finds him to be quite repugnant, as would most other people. - Quicksilver- Pietro Maximoff (Superhuman speed.)

Quicksilver is arrogant, deceptive and his loyalty is always in question. While occassionally fighting the good fight, he still would willingly risk the lives or safety of others for his own gain. - Scarlet Witch (Character Taken by Namine) - Wanda Maximoff (Reality warping, manifested as probability alteration and magic)

Wanda's father, Magneto, sent her to an asylum shortly after her mutant powers emerged. He claimed it was necessary because he was unable to help control her dangerous powers. She resented him for it. Mystique helped Wanda escape from the asylum in order to bolster the Brotherhood ranks. However, Wanda was more interested in revenge against her father than fighting for any Brotherhood cause.

Not only is Gambit a powerful mutant, but also is an expert theif and has a charm that often works in his favor.
And Asil is "BlitzAsil" that just registered. She's cool beans to be nice to Asil! XD
